The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) was formerly called the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). This program targets applicants having the talent and skills to meet the labour demand in Alberta. Applications are accepted from workers through the Express Entry system and Alberta Opportunity Pathway. The Overseas Graduate Entrepreneur Pathway and the Farmer Self-Employed are the two business immigration pathways successfully managed by AINP.
The Government of Alberta in cooperation with the National Immigration Department IRCC - Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada is looking after Alberta PNP. Applicants wishing to migrate to Canada with the help of AINP need to undergo a process of 2 stages:
