Latest Express Entry Draw

ADMIN

The Express Entry draw that took place on January 10, 2024, was the first of the year and it was a general draw, meaning that it was open to candidates from all Express Entry-managed programs, such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

Here are some key details about the draw:

Number of invitations issued: 1,510

Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score: 546

Tie-breaking rule: December 31, 2023, at 6:23 PM UTC

This was a relatively large draw, with a CRS cut-off score that was lower than the previous draw (567 on December 21, 2023). This means that more candidates were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residency this time around.

If you were hoping to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) in this draw, you would need to have had a CRS score of at least 546 and have submitted your Express Entry profile before the draw date. You can check your CRS score using the online tool available on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.
